What Your Drink Order Says About Your Madrid Night

What Your Drink Order Says About Your Madrid Night

Unscientific. Slightly judgmental. Almost certainly correct. Here's what your drink order on a night out in Madrid says about you, tested nightly on The Madrid Pub Crawl, where the welcome shot at Calle Cañizares 6 is usually the first clue.

The mojito person- You've read the room and you're playing the long game. You're not trying to get destroyed by midnight, you're pacing for a night that goes until sunrise. Smart. You're probably the one still going strong at the club when half the group has quietly gone home. Respect.

The tequila shot person- You arrived ready. The welcome shot at the meeting point wasn't a formality for you, it was a starting gun. You're the reason the group energy goes from zero to sixty in the first fifteen minutes, and honestly, every good night needs one of you.

The gin tonic person-  You have opinions about the gin. You probably asked what's in it before ordering. You're having a genuinely lovely time and will remember the name of every bar you went to, unlike literally everyone else in the group.

The "sorpréndeme" person-  Chaos energy, but the fun kind. You trust the bartender, you trust the guide, you trust the universe. This usually works out extremely well and occasionally results in a drink nobody can identify but everyone agrees was incredible.

The beer all night person-  The most consistent person in the group. No drama, no surprises, just steady good energy from bar one to the club at 2am. You'll be the one everyone thanks the next morning for actually remembering how to get back to the hostel.

The water and vibes person-  You're not drinking much, and it doesn't matter one bit. You're there for the people, the music, the whole atmosphere of a night in Madrid and you'll probably remember more of it in detail than anyone else in the group.

Whatever you order, the point was never really the drink. It's the people around the table when you're ordering it. Three bars, one club, a group of strangers who stop being strangers somewhere around the second round.

Come find out what your order says about you.
